MERRICK began manufacturing BIF Dry Chemical Feed products in 1987, introducing water treatment industry products to our product line. In 2005, MERRICK purchased the Dry Chemical Feed line from the BIF parent company. With this purchase, MERRICK now provides service and parts for all previous customers and users of BIF equipment.
ConSeCo specializes in solving unique material handling applications, while being a principal inventor and world leader in supplying ConSeCo ScaleLess high-density lime slurry systems. Established by Mr. Ron Plank in 1979, ConSeCo has successfully designed and installed over 100 high-density lime systems to both municipal and industrial end users. ConSeco ScaleLess high-density lime slurry systems offer superior cost advantages to the customer through lower capital costs, maintenance, and water usage.
Control Panels, Inc., has more than 30 years of experience in custom control panel design, manufacturing, installation and repair. A member of the MERRICK Family of Companies since 2008, CPI is equipped to handle any size or scope of job. From simple termination boxes to multi-door, multi-cabinet, complete PLC and drive systems, Control Panels, Inc. can handle it all. CPI’s fully equipped shop is staffed by talented electricians and experienced fabricators, which allows customized control panel solutions to each customer’s exact needs and specifications. CPI also distributes a wide selection of new and used parts, including motor starters, relays, push buttons, cabinets and more.
The custom nature of the work allows Control Panels, Inc. to handle the most demanding jobs for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications for lumber, pulp and paper production facilities; lime processing plants; water and wastewater treatment centers; traffic signals; and military installations. Control Panels, Inc. has been part of the MERRICK Family of Companies since 2008.
The original bulk Materials Handling Equipment Company (MHE) was formed in 1927 in Chicago, Ill., to support the demands of expanding industries. New process techniques generated the need for high quality custom-built bulk handling equipment. In continuous operation ever since, MHE expanded its product line to focus on specific Industry needs, including bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and screw conveyors. Cement plants and power plants (ash handling) require special conveyors for hot and abrasive materials, while the coal industry requires special corrosive protection. MHE continues to be one of the leaders in this market and pioneers many of the state-of-the-art features and innovations used today for high temperature, high abrasion, and corrosive applications. One of the original founding members of the Conveyors Equipment Manufacturers Association, MHE was acquired by MERRICK in 2005.
In 1994, MERRICK introduced MERRICK Environmental Technologies, a full service supplier of air pollution control and dust collection equipment. MERRICK specializes in the most difficult precipitator rebuilds, fabric filters available in a wide range of sizes and configurations and high pressure fabric filters which are perhaps the strongest standard fabric filters made today. With careful attention to detail and a dedicated and trained engineering staff, MERRICK produces exceptional results quickly.
In 1983, MERRICK first supplied coal feeders to NTPC in India that still continue to operate reliably. Today, MERRICK has formed a 100%-owned subsidiary in India, MERRICK Industries Pvt. Ltd., specializing in all-inclusive services and capabilities for the power generation industry:
- Indian-made coal feeders for both PC and Fluidized-Bed Boilers
- Indian-made valves, flatwork, and associated ancillary products such as acoustic flow monitors
- Upgrades, modernizations, and retrofits for existing coal feeders of any make
- Spare parts for existing coal feeders of any make
- Comprehensive customer support and field services
Established in New Jersey in 1965, Power Circuits, Inc. became part of the MERRICK Family of Companies in 2001. Power Circuits designs and manufactures SCR drives for DC motor control, and MERRICK continues to service, maintain and supply spare parts for any currently operating Power Circuits solid state control systems equipment anywhere in the world.
