MC3 3000 Loss-In-Weight Controller

Specifications | Manual

The MC3 3000 Controller is designed to deliver material into a downstream process at a designed feedrate. MC Cubed Touch Screen Controller
Theory of OperationAn analog signal is used by the MC3 Controller to control the speed of a feeding device. The analog signal is varied by the controller to maintain a set feedrate. A Load Cell signal is monitored by the controller and is used as feedback for maintaining feedrate and totalizing the material fed from the feeder. The Load Cell signal is also used to determine when the feeder hopper requires material. An output from the MC3 Controller can control a refill device or can be used to signal another intelligent device that a refill is required. When the weight of material in the hopper reaches the correct level, the controller will remove the requirement for refill. This automatic function can be disabled for manual refill.
